Having seen Graham's recommendation of Mark, Mr.Sweep, I contacted him.  I had a chimney fire which resulted in the fire brigade being called.  My chimney was in dire straits!  Mark arrived on time and advised the cleaning would take approximately an hour.  However, my chimney was in such a state it took 3 hours!   He did an excellent job, keeping disruption to a minimum.  I relit my fire with confidence and am pleased to say that it is working well.  He will return at the end of the fire season to ensure that the chimney is still in good order.  Money well spent and I will ensure in future that Mark is booked for an annual visit.
